Tips and advice for those who wish to attend the Galleria Arts Festival 10 - 17 July 2010
Marketing and PR
- Tell us about your arts or other activities that can be used in press releases and PR.
- Galleria Art Festival is both "long, twisty and comprehensive" - impressions are many and it may take several days to experience everything. Feel free to bring your own posters, street bows, banners, etc. for reference and attention.
- Likewise you can present your own publications, business cards or other presentation in the showroom.
- Refer to you own homepage if you got one.
- For NOK 1000 per year you can place up to 12 works on the web gallery at www.galleria.no. With larger numbers the price is NOK 100 per work. Galleria website is well visited and often generate sales to the exhibitor. Exhibition period for web is one year.
Exhibition, presentation, sales
- Less is more! Be selective when choosing what to put on the wall. Instead of hanging up all works at once it can be nice to have something in reserve
- Prevent the wall from being empty early in the festival period. Sell directly from the wall if you can replace a sold work with a new
- If you can not replace the work – note the piece with a "red tab" and agree with the buyer for pickup after the festival is over. Empty walls are not a good mood creator. Red patches creates interest!
- Join the City-feast 2010! Extend the exhibition time in to the Saturday night 17th July and get the possibility of sales during this great feast after Galleria Arts Festival is over. 2000-3000 people are expected to Sjøgato – the old town of Mosjøen!
